In a fit of whimsy John's bicycle riding buddy Ike carved a wood's spirit face in the hand-shaped ash handle. The head of the axe is about 3 lbs. The handle is built short in order to ease storage in a canoe or on packhorse. It is not lightweight. It will certainly cut deep and powerfully. One of a kind.
